These Boots are made for walking...

Today I went to Matalan and picked up a few pairs of boots, both pairs were reduced to silly prices! :)

These boots were reduced from £24 to £6! Which was great as I was going to buy them full price.

These are a lovely pair of ankle boots but what really caught my eye was that the zips are on the outside of the foot rather than the inside, just something a little bit different. And these were reduced from £16 down to £4 !!

Hope your all having a nice weekend

Haul and Bodycare Bargain!(Wet and Wild)

After seeing a few posts about Poundland having Wet and Wild eyeshadows in stock I thought I'd go and see if my local store had any and the did so I got two in the shades Fine Wine and Cream. I also picked up a maybelline single eyeshadow which doesn't have a name but its a nice matte grey. Also in Poundland they have Clearasil Ultra Overnight serum which I have read clears up spots and reduces redness overnight.

Then in body care I got some pore strips and came across a few boxes of misc products and they were full of Wet and Wild products. There were lipsticks, bronzers and mascaras. Each set was buy 1 get 2 free but you couldn't mix and match for example one lipstick 1 mascara etc it had 2 be all one type of product. So I chose 3 different Shades of Wet and Wild lipstick for £1.19!!!

There aren't any shade names on the lipsticks but the colours I get were a bright pink, red and coral all 3 have a great colour pay off, so if you have a Bodycare near you I would have a look :)

More of My Collection .... No17, Rimmel and Collection 2000

A few more of my little treasures

(L-R) True Blue, Cocoa Berry, Raspberry Mocha, Orange Soda, Pink Grapefruit

The No17 Polishes come in a wide range of coloyrs and for the price and great value, althought they only last a day or two without chipping but you can't complain for the price

(L-R) Sky High, Apricot Punch, Black Cab

Rimmel polishes have a lovely finish when dry, a nice formula and I love the brush, oh and the range of polishes that are sented!

Next up is Collection 2000

Collection 2000 is a brand that offers a great range of products at really affordable prices. I love their collection of nail polishes which range from brights to neautrals.

(L-R)43 Fruit Salad, 5 Siren, Nail Care 2 in1 topcoatand Gloss

I love these to polishes when I'm wearing them they really brighten my mood as well as my nails! and they are the perfect summer colours. The nail polish itself is very easy to apply it has a nice sized brush so makes application easy. I usually put two coats of any polish but you could get away with just one coat. The Nail Care 2 in 1 top coat is great it gives a very high shine to your nails and has really helped to strengthen my nails and make them look and feel healthier.

NOTD using Primark foil wraps and nails inc polish

The other day I found these foil nail wraps in Prmark for £3! they are very similar to the ones sold on ASOS and in Topshop.

I wasn't sure how they will stay on to decided just to try them on my ring finger of each hand to see how they hold up. On my nails I am wearing Nails Inc polish in jermyn street.

NOTD- Barry M Strawberry Ice Cream

I love looking at blogs which do NOTD posts as I love seeing how the colours look on, as sometimes nail polishes aren't the same on the nail as they look in the bottle.

Barry M is one of my favourite brands for Nail polish as they are reasonably priced, come in a great range of colours and are good quality. The above picture is 2 coats of Strawberry Ice Cream.

I have quite a few Barry M Nail paints so I may do a seperate post on these

2010 Favourites

Well 2010 was the year that I really got into trying different make up, I've always worn make up but decided to try out new products and this was due to watching videos on you tube and reading blogs.

Here a few of my favourites from 2010:

The foundation I was using for most of 2010 was Revlon Colourstay Mineral Mousse in shade 030. This foundation is light-medium coverage, a little goes a long way, its got SPF 20 and overall i'm really happy with it. I did try the colourstay liquid foundation but just found it didn't give me enough coverage.

I started the year using Benefit Boi-ing concealer which I loved and thought was my HG in concealer but then around november I discovered Rimmel Match Perfection Concealer in 010 Ivory and have really been loving it, its the perfect shade for my skin tone, it covers blemishes without drying them out and looking cakey, and does a good job as an under eye concealer aswell!

I was never a fan of wearing blusher for fear of looking like a clown but 2010 saw me experimenting with blusher my favourite being no7 Natural Blush in 10 Soft Damson. Its not to bright yet gives a lovely natural colour when applied with a light hand.

Thanks to Glamour magazine giving away eyebright I picked up a copy and have never looked back. I love using this in the inner corner of the eye to brighten the eye and make you look more awake and also on the waterline.

And Finally I have a skincare routine which I have stuck to and has really improved my skin. This being Cetaphil cleanser and moisturiser(review on blog)

Onto eyes like everyone else in the beauty community I to fell in love with the Naked Palette and had to get my hands on one. I would have to say this is my favourite product of the year and most loved!

Previously I had always overlooked bourjois eyeshadows, but having read a few posts on them I decided to give them a try and wow they are great. They are so pigmented and can pe used wet as eyeliner aswell.

And two mascaras are worthy of a mention L'Oreal Voluminous in carbon black and Rimmel Lash Accelerator in black. Both mascaras have really nice wands, no clumping and really help to fan out the lashes.

Stila eye shadow quad, I found this at a reduced price and so decided to give it ago I really liked the colours I chose and the pigmentation is good but there is quite a bit of fall out from the shadows.

Avon Gel eyeliner, again another product there was lots of hype about and well worth it to. I;m not a great eyeliner fan but really enjoy using this as its so easy to use

All year round Carmex (cherry) has been my saviour whether I was wearing it on its own or under lipstick it is great for healing chapped lips. Talking of lipstick I discovered No7 Mirrorshine and these have been my most worn, in the shades Belle and Beehive

And finally ...

One high end and the other a celebrity perfume

Chanel Chance and Kylie Minogue Darling

New years resolutions!

Sorry I'm a little late with this post but Happy New Year!
I can't believe its 2011 already doesn't time fly, well just like everyone else i have made a few New Years Resolutions which i hope to achieve this year.

* Stash diet- I really need to use up alot of lotions and potions before i buy any more as I seem to have accumulated quite a few ! And this wil help me to save money as well which is a bonus :)

* Eat more fruit - I'm quite a fussy eater and so there are not alot of fruits I like but if I eat the ones I do like its better than nothing

* Give my blog a makeover , this is going to be a challenge as i'm not sure how to add images etc to the side bars or to even add a header, so if anyone can give me some tips it would be much appreciated :)

* Get a better camera so the quality of pictures on my blog will be better as at the moment I take pictures with my blackberry and its not great

* And generally just take more pictures all round as I feel at the end of the year its nice to look back and see what you've done and I love to create memories

Well I think thats enough to be going on with as how many people really keep their resolution ? I think these are all realistic and so I will try my best to achieve them
